Reporting Payroll in advance

With Single Touch Payroll, the ATO requires your STP Report on or before the date of payment. You can therefore report in advance.

First process the payroll in MYOB and then report that payroll in the same way you would report a normal pay. You will see an alert that the Payment Date is a future date (just in case date was entered in error) however this alert can be ignored if the future date is deliberate.
