About STP Creator
The About STP Creator screen can be accessed from the Help menu item on the Main Screen.
This screen displays the Version and Licence details, as well as the ATO Specifications this version complies with. You can continue to use this version of STP Creator until the ATO no longer accepts this Specification via the nominated API End point, or your licence expires. As STP is in its infancy, it is not clear how often the Specifications and API End points will change. Updates to support any changes will be included for 12 months from the date of purchase, ensuring all purchasers can us STP Creator for at least 12 months, and in many cases much longer.

Version
The currently installed version number of STP Creator will be shown in the format 2.0.0.1
When you press this button, providing there is an internet connection available, STP Creator will connect to our server and check the latest available version number for this Release. A pop-up will advise you what the latest version number is and you can compare that with your current version number on the About STP Creator screen. If the latest version number available is higher than your current version number you will be prompted to update.
No data is sent from your computer to our server. This process simply reads from our server. If an update is available, you will need to visit our website, download and install it.
Note: STP Creator has an option to automatically Check for Update on startup. This option can be changed on the Preferences screen. It is recommended this option is enabled to ensure you have the latest version when preparing to report your payroll. The Check for Update button on the About STP Creator screen is a manually triggered check and is not affected by the setting on the Preferences screen.
When you press this button, a new browser window will open a web-page showing a link to the latest update for STP Creator at www.namich.com.au. It will also show a brief version history for this Release. This process will use the default browser on your system. As a purchaser of STP Creator you are entitled to any updates for 12 months from the date of Purchase. Download the update from this link. The Update process will first un-install your current version and then install the new version. Settings and saved files will not be affected by this process.
